Post Conference Organising Group

This travel program is carefully organised by several individuals to help shape a profound experience for all participants.

Gisela Wendling, PhD is the convener of this travel program and program chair of the SLaM conference.

Gisela brings a longstanding interest in building bridges of understanding and cultural exchanges between indigenous people and westerners, specifically as it relates to westerners becoming introduced to indigenous spiritual healing traditions. Gisela is a humanistic and transpersonal oriented psychologist, organisation development practitioner working with and in organisations and former university professor. Gisela explores the topic of creating transformative pathways in the Aboriginal culture in her blog: Limina Songlines


Sue Gregory supports Frank bringing indigenous wisdom to the modern world and will assist him facilitating the camp. Sue partners with Frank in providing retreats and programs for people to learn from the spirit of the land. You can see more about her work with Frank on her blog: Healthy Outlook

Sue is an executive leadership coach and organisation transformation specialist. Her coaching and facilitation business, operates throughout Australia, and she delivers workshops internationally. In sharing her experiences mentoring with Frank in the desert, she provides a context for people to suspend belief and learn from ancient healing practices.


Lorraine Moses is responsible for camp-related logistics such as the kitchen and equipment before, during and after the camp.

Lorraine brings many years of experiences of running the logistics of desert camps and has taken groups to participate in sacred ceremony with Pitjantjatjara women in sacred ceremony in the Central Desert. Lorraine’s background ranges widely from accounting work to holding many office positions in volunteer organisations, and she has owned a Health and Healing Centre.
